Title:Graphic Design / Marketing / Promotional Materials
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We provide short fun educational DVDs for children to help them with everyday tasks - e.g. brushing teeth, washing hair etc.
I need to develop a look and feel for all marketing material and products. This project currently consists of:
I need 3 DVD covers and onbody artwork for these 3 DVDs (I have the print templates for these), one A7 ad designed, a pop up banner and a flyer / leaflet and either a big poster or an exhibition panel. I have a logo, and some images (from the actual DVDs) that can be used. I will also provide the text (or content of the text).
I have a short turnaround time on this - I need it finalised for Tuesday 2 February.
Once I have a look and feel that is representative of our company we will be needing to update our website to reflect this new branding. This is not part of the immediate project but will happen at a later date.
I am based in London. Thanks, Caroline

A. J. on 28/01/2010 02:14Hello Caroline,
Would you be interested in working via net? Skype conference? I’´m an experienced graphic designer now living in Portugal and i would be glad to help you with a kids project.
Kind regards
Ana Jorge
L. A. on 28/01/2010 10:10Hello Caroline,
What age group are these directed at?
Do you have a preference for digital imaging or more traditional meadia (paint, colouring pens etc.).
Also, would you like the images to be slightly humouristic or more \
M. O. on 28/01/2010 10:24Let me get this straight - you want 3 DVD inlay cards with disc labels, an advertisement, a leaflet and a big poster or exhibition panel all for less than £250, and, all doing for next Tuesday????
Get real Caroline and stop insulting professional designer's integrity. Go to a local college and offer the project to students with a few quid in their back pockets.
A. F. on 28/01/2010 11:10I agree with Martin thats quite alot of work for such a small amount of money, and the lead time is very short!
S. S. on 28/01/2010 12:04This is a tall order shame it wasnt posted earlier .
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
