I would be very interested in bidding for the contract, but would like to know if the interviews will be recorded and sent digitally, or will be recorded on cassette tape and posted. Also, what would be the expected turnaround time for the tapes.

Dear Simon,
I once was about to receive a transcription job and the buyer was using a special software in order to send the interviews. I can\'t remember the name right now but if you check this search maybe you can find something. Have a look: http://www.google.com.ar/search?hl=es&q=transcription+programs&meta=
I understand you can download it for free and it may let you send the interviews digitally. In any case, if you decide to record them on a cd and post them it\'s ok with me.

You can send the files via a file server called www.sendthisfile.com. It is free and very easy to register, this gives you access to upload and download files very simply. I have used this site before and found it very straight forward.
