Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have need of a forum poster for a period of 4 weeks.
Each week I will task you to interact with a number of fashion forums and fashion blogs, adding relevant comments, talking to users and starting new conversations.
The purpose of this role is to raise the brand awareness of a fashion website that I help to maintain.
I will expect you to take on a character of either someone who knows about fashion (and perhaps this website) and someone who doesn\'t. Interesting conversations and comments can then be had as you drawn attention to the website you are trying to promote.
Although every comment/conversation will not require it, a proportion of your messages will need to promote or reference either the fashion website or an article of clothing/feature on the fashion website.
I would suggest a 1:8 approach for the fashion forums (1 mention/link for every 8 posts), 1:2 approach for bog comments (1 mention/link for every 2 comments). These aren\'t set in stone but a rules-of-thumb.
My guesstimate would be that this role will require 3 hours per week (split over the beginning, middle and end), in which time I would expect 40 - 60 posts and comments to be made.
A post/comment does not have to be a 100+ word article. It can be as simple as agreeing with someone (in a forum thread) or referencing another post by another blogger (for a blog comment).
What Im trying to say is, posts/comments can be a few words long, or a few hundred words long depending on the conversation. Variety is the key.
I would estimate that of the 40-60 posts done each week, the average word count would be 20.
I will need full transparency so will also require that you keep a daily log (via Google spreadsheet) of the comments made and links/references mentioned.
Previous forum posting/blog commenting experience required.
Must know how to use Google spreadsheets.
Must be able to dedicate at least 3 hours per week to this task until the end of April
