Clarification Board
S. P. on 16/08/2011 17:27Hi Zubair,
Could you explain in more detail about the Forum you mention? Will this be for two-way communication/debate etc or just for posting news and updates? If just for updates, a blog solution would be better where members of the public cannot start new threads but can comment on ones that have been created by a website admin.
Let me know and I will place a bid.
Regards,
Stuart

Z. I. on 16/08/2011 19:45Hi Stuart
Many thanks for showing interest in this project.
We're looking for a forum type thread. The administrator should be able to set up user accounts and allow parents to post/create threads. We want to avoid children posting on it for obvious reasons ..
Also, just to clarify, CMS is required for the whole site.
Thanks
zubair
S. P. on 16/08/2011 21:58Thanks Zubair,
So for the forum, only a website admin can create accounts and there will be no facility for "self-registration"? I assume parents of the kids in the football club will ask for an account offline at meetings/games etc and one will be created for them?
Understood about the CMS.
I look forward to placing a competitive, accurate and detailed bid once you have confirmed I have understood the forum facility!
Kind regards,
Stuart P

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
