Title:Flash interactive website design
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi, my name is Lorena and I need help in creative a flash interactive website. The main purpose of the site is for people to navigate in a fun way and view the photographs. I would need to have few subcategories of course: info, list of affiliates, customer care etc. There will be one subcategory where people can purchase a sample designs kit.
I have to add that I want to create basically TWO versions of the same site. One where people can view the images as they are. The second I want it to be with anaglyph images so people can view the images using glasses. I can provide the images: both standard and anaglyph
As an idea of a flash interactive site I found www.vancleef-arpels.com Once you enter the site you will find at the top a list of jewelry collections. Please click on Perlee Collections. That is most indicative of the site I would like to have.
Also I am attaching a .jpg image indicative of the environment I would like to have of my website. The idea is to have a garden so to speak and on the wall of the garden to have elegant frames hanging and framed would be each images that I want to show. The viewer would scroll along the garden wall to the right encountering these framed images. I would like each framed image to represent a category of the photos I want to display. For example since I am a photographer I would like one framed image to be of children, another to be of families, sports etc. For the viewers to see more images in a specific category they can click on the elegantly framed image on the garden wall and they will be then taken to a second page where they can view more photos.
Withing the flash animation perhaps butterflies or fairy dust to appear to fly around or in and out of the framed image. I really would like to give the idea of a fantasy land so to speak.
Also I want to be able to change the tonality of the wall as the viewer scrolls to the right so that the color of the wall and overall light would match the color of the image framed. Maybe a sunrise, mid day, sunset and night light and tonality change or something like that.
Thank you,
Lorena

I studied your full project and also checked the reference site. We're fully capable to accomplish the project as have done the same kind of sites and also have our office in Texas and other countries.
But to be honest, at your budget you would not be getting reliable and genuine bids. I request you to increase the bid amount looking at the amount of the work your project requires.
Thanks

You suggested I increase the bid. What would be YOUR bid?

R. W. on 11/02/2012 23:31Hi Lorena,
Would you consider a bid from javascript developers? Javascript will achive all you require, and is also compatible (unlike flash) with iPhone and iPad.
Adobe have ceased support for Flash on mobile, and it looks like the desktop is going to get the chop soon as well...
Javascript will at least future proof things for you.
Kind regards,
Rob

Yes. If JavaScript can help achieve some interactive action by all means. You have an excellent point. I DO want my site to be viewable on iPhone , IPad or android.
Oh. What is the difference between HTML5 and JavaScript?
I hear a lot of people talking about HTML 5. Sorry I'm such a neophyte when it comes to web design.
Thank you,
Lorena

Thanks for the reply.
In the referred website, every category has a different theme as per the product.
What we will do is we are going to upload theme on the back-end for the category and you'd be able to select the theme and the product on it.
This is a high-end flash and will cost us on per second basis.
Cost
____
$2200.00
I can guarantee you the same quality as referred and you cannot get the low cost than this. This is a high skilled job.
Thanks

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
