Title:Flash Animations - eLearning
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
We are developers of generic elearning titles for the engineering and manufacturing industries.
Require 6 animated figures in Flash to be inserted within elearning courses in a Powerpoint/Articulate environment. All six figures are based around the same character Stanley, a stressed production manager of an ice cream factory who is the learner's guide through the course by confronting a number of predicaments by using the materials within the elearning course.
Figures relate to Stanley in various predicaments - puzzled; happy;frustrated;proud;worried and neutral and need to convey these emotions and (as he will \"narrate\" the text) the mouth and gestures need to change a little.
Stan is wearing white shirt sleves rolled up partly and loosened tie and is 40-50 yrs old character.
Work is required on or before End August.
Succesful bidder will have the first refusal of future work in related titles involving \"Stan\"

Clarification Board
P. A. on 21/07/2009 18:29Just to clarify - this project is for the design of the character and animation or just the animation?
If stan is getting into predicaments, presumably it's not just stan, it's stan + props and environment?
M. H. on 22/07/2009 10:21Hi Paul,
Please could you clarify what the duration of each segment would be.
As per the previous persons question, what props and environment would you need.
Thank you
Martin
P. A. on 22/07/2009 11:59Hi Martin,
Thanks for your enquiry. Is there anyway I can have Stan without any background/props as an object so he can be just pasted onto an existing Powerpoint background? The course is designed in Powerpoint and then converted into elearning via Articulate so one of the six Stan charcters will appear every so often through the course but needs to be on the page the learner is looking at - which will be mid grey tone in colour. An object with a transparent background for Stan in Flash so I can position one on the page as I design each one?
The duration of each "motion" segment will be quite short - for example - he might rub his forehead in the "puzzled" version, or fold his arms in the "pleased" one something like that. Would be cool to have him moving every so often in a couple of ways each version (think of the windows Office assistant rubber ball/dog/cat?)
Decided against having him "narrate" as this would mean a seperate Stan for each length of narrated text. Too costly.
Will require a basic graphic design for Stan to be approved before any of the six charcaters are detailed.
Hope this helps.
