Description
Experience Level: Entry
GOAL: find at least ten products. Each product must satisfy ALL of the following "group A" criteria:
A1. Product has a proper English or European name.
A2. Product is sold on a non-auction, non-advertising website.
-Websites that offer auctions, such as eBay.com or Allegro.pl, are excluded.
-Websites that offer advertisements, such as Craigslist.com or Indialist.com, are excluded.
A3. Product unit price falls between US $50 and US $5000.
- If product is sold in multiple items, such as a dozen, then unit price refers to price of one item.
A4. Product can be ordered in more than 2 units from the website.
At the same time, product must satisfy AT LEAST ONE of the following "group B" criteria:
B1. Among all websites in the top 50 Google results that satisfy group A, none of them accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discovery credit card payment.
or
B2. Among all websites in the top 50 Google results that satisfy group A, none have a URL ending with .com
EXAMPLE:
Only one example listed below is qualified:
1. Product "Uchi Mahe" is a translated name and does not satisfy A1.
2. Product "Gordon carbon drive belt" is sold on "www.bike.com" and only accepts Paypal payments. But "www.bike2.com" also has this product and accepts Visa card. Therefore, B1 is not satisfied.
3. Product "Mantalini frame" satisfies "group A". In addition, the top 5 pages from Google search satisfy "group B". Congratulations, you found a qualified product!
DELIVERY:
1. If a product satisfies "group A" and "group B", provide evidence as follows:
---For "group A", record the website link or links.
---For "group B", list all websites (from the top 50 Google results) you visited that do NOT qualify group B.
Type all results into one Excel spreadsheet.
2. Provide for each found product a short description on how you found it in the first place. For example: "I found Xenophilius by typing in Google "where can I find strange instruments", which led me to "www.answer.com".
3. For early feedback, must synchronize with me when three (3) products are found, or after (2) hours of work, whichever occurs first.
JOB RATING:
1. Rating will be based on the number of websites found: 5 stars for >100 results. 4 stars for >50 results.
2. All products must come from different websites. A master website that sells 10 products is considered as 1 result, not 10.
