Hello Carl

With one of the projects i currently work with, I speak to large companies and also local authorities, police authorities and more.

My role is to either speak to head of electrical, engineering and facilities manager, estates directors/managers, design engineers or a similar job role to offer energy efficient lighting solutions, I am tasked with generating qualified new business leads and establishing if they are using a contractor at the moment, if they have had any issues with them and if they have budget set aside for this type of project, they way I do this is by using a very consultative approach.

I am very successful with this project and am working for their Southern and Northern divisons for a combined 4 hours per day.

One of the other projects i worked on was for a lift maintenance company, i was required to speak to hosuing associations and other large organisations to see who looks after their lift maintenance contract, find out response times, what there biggest issue was with their current contractor and also establish how they make their decisions, i.e . is it all about cost, quality etc etc, I would then make an appointments whenever there was an opportunity.

There is no point passing anything back to you if they are for e.g 2 years into a 5 year contract but it would be worth finding out when that actual contract expires what date they go to tender so a solid sales pipeline is built for your sales staff to sell into.

The best way to actually get an appointment is to be invited in to see them and not actually having to push for it.

If you would like me to put in a bid let me know as I think potentially there is an opportunity for us to maybe work together as I think I would be a good candidate for this role due to already speaking to people either in the same or similar job roles.

I look forward to hearing from you.
