Title:Email processor
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
I'm looking for someone to help me manage my inbox. If you're familiar with the Four Hour Work Week, you'll know what I'm talking about.
My inbox currently has about 260 messages, which are fairly representative of what I get. Therefore, as part of the task, the person has to put together a processing document to serve as instructions for how to handle the inbox in the future. You'll get an idea of the kind of thing I mean from the link above.
I don't mind too much about location, but we *will* have to communicate on the phone at least once a day.
Also, although I am offering an hourly rate on this, we would stop after an agreed time to review progress and see how far we got, as I don't want to go off budget! However, although I've set a three day limit on this, if you're good and we work well together, this could be an ongoing engagement.
I'm happy to answer any questions and I look forward to the bids!

J. Z. on 23/11/2010 13:05Dear Lina,
What I meant was that you mentioned in the advert about a link see below your wording.
You'll get an idea of the kind of thing I mean from the link above?
That is fine if there is no more information.

L. C. on 23/11/2010 13:54Hi Julian, really sorry, I realised after messaging back that pph had edited out that part of my post - I guess they don't allow some website links. Look up "The Four Hour Work Week, the holy grail, how to outsource email" and you should get the article I mean.
Here is the link again in case they allow it this tiime:

J. A. on 23/11/2010 13:23Hello,
Is it fine with you, if we communicate through chatting instead of phone?
Regards,
Joyce A.

L. C. on 30/11/2010 17:37Possibly Lisa but I'd have to have a way of leaving messages for you to action in the evening.
L. C. on 30/11/2010 22:27Hi Lina, yes that could be arranged. You could leave messages on my mobile. The bidding is closed on your job but I am still very interested.
Look forward to hearing from you
Lisa
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
