Title:Database Cleansing

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

We are a national training company with an aging database that needs cleansing. We will provide successful applicants with an Excel spreadsheet with contact details that need to be checked ie confirm we have the best contact for training in the company, their email address and postal address. We expect a minimum of 20 attempts per hour with 60%+ of these calls resulting in a contact being cleansed. We do not expect to pay the higher rates for selling/appointment making as there is no need to speak to a decision-maker (normally a receptionist can confirm the details). Since we have so much data to clean, we will probably take on a few applicants and then see who performs the best and they will ultimately get more of the work.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been data cleansing and telemarketing for some time now and my performance is high. In order for me to place a bid, could you clarify whether your spreadsheet will include address details ?. The reason for this question is that contacts are more likely to be open to a caller if some details can be quoted up front.
Many thanks,
Mike.

The spreadsheet we provide will contain full address contact name phone number and in most cases job title and email address - we just need it all verifying.

We intend to choose 2 or 3 freelancers to begin with and will base our choice on the cost per hour and how many calls an hour the person says they can do. We have given some data to a company to clean and are analyzing their results and will be in a position in a week or two to start trialing out freelancers then. We will be paying between £6 & £10 per hour to begin with and will expect at least 30 call attempts per hour.

Thanks for your prompt response, i did not add in my bid, but i would be more than able to complete the 30 per hour you are proposing, as i was aiming for this amount in previous positions.
