Job Description

We are a consultancy firm looking for a skilled and accurate data entry person for an estimated 60 hours work in February transcribing printed menu text to Excel and assigning transcribed text to particular categories (no specialist technical knowledge is needed).

I am looking for someone with excellent typing speed, an eye for detail, good English and dedication to see the job through. The project is home-based allowing you to work the hours that suit you thoughout the project, though you would need to visit central London twice to pick up and drop off source material. It would be more economical if bidders were living in London or close enough to London that travel costs aren't a factor, but I'm also happy to consider those who would need to travel. If there are travel costs, please include them within your bid.

I am self employed, carrying out general administration work from home. The majority of my work consists of copy typing, completing templates in MS word and excell. I would prefer to offer a set rate for the work to be completed such as an amount per entry (or similar), but would require more details of the work to be completed to give a figure.

Recently I have found necessity to transcribe Word listings of absolute multiple dat to Excel for a purpose. May I ask you the purpose of the transcribe operation? Due to the terms, of this site, I am unable to mention what the requirement was for only to say that an upload requirement was involved and I suspect that it is a similar requirement

There\\\'s unfortunately no facility for me to edit the Project Description. I\\\'ve emailed the support team at peopleperhour.com and am waiting for them to make the necessary changes to include the above text in that field.
