Title:Data Entry 1: Are you good at it?
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
I have 75 sheets all together in one PDF. This is a very simple project - all I need is for someone to enter the information on the sheets on to an XL spreadsheet as it appears. There is mopre information on the sheets than what is required so I only need the info that applies to the headers on the XL sheet. The information is hand written on the sheets so there may be times where you are unsure or unclear as to what was meant. Please use you best judgement or I can be contacted at any time to discuss. I require the information completed before 24/10/2008.

C. M. on 14/10/2008 13:43Hi
Do you have a rough idea of how many columns and rows this should take in excel? I'm thinking it will be £200 and I'm free immediately so will easily have it completed by 24th Oct. I could start the project asap if you wanted me to do it.
Thanks
Caroline

S. B. on 14/10/2008 17:26Hi,
I am very interested in this project and have just submitted a bid to you.
I am able to start this project immediately and my rate is negotiable.
I look forward to hearing from you with further details of this project.
Regards,

M. P. on 14/10/2008 22:13I'd like to bid for this, and could make an immediate start, but could you please give info to help work out how much work is involved? How many fields/headings on the spreadsheet, and how much information (a rough estimate of number of characters would be helpful) has to be entered per sheet. E.g. is it a few columns containing Yes/No, then a comment, or a questionnaire with handwritten answers to 20 questions, or sheets of figures, or...?
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
