Creative Children’s Picturebook Writer / Story Book Writer (500 -1000 Words) - Gifted, Quick Thinking Writer

Hi,

I would like to commission a Creative Children’s Writer to write ONE short Early Learning / Mini Easy Reader Story for Children (girls) Age 4-8 years (500 –1000 words). I am an Illustrator, my style of illustration is vibrant & contemporay; the style of writing needs to complement those attributes. I will be illustrating the selected Authors creative text. Note: All written work MUST BE ORIGINAL, Duplicate or copied content IS NOT PERMITTED.

Requirements:

1. Originality, a real passion & talent for Writing Creative Content for Children.
2. Excellent English Grammar & Punctuation
3. Excellent Standard of Written English
4. An understanding of the relationship between TEXT & IMAGE
5. Attention to detail.
6. Good time management
7. A short supporting synopsis of your writing style

The Brief:

1) To write a (500 -1000 word) First Reader/Easy-reader story familiar to a child's everyday life, that teaches one educational theme through simple, engaging, playful words. It needs to be something both positive and fun that children will want to read again and again! (Perhaps with sounds & rhymes).

(Example Themes: Sharing / Recycling- although I am open to suggestions)

The selected Authors final written text will be illustrated.

Important: I will credit the selected Authors name in the title page. In Bidding you are agreeing to give me permission to use your written work with my illustrations and reproduce the work in a digital prototype sample.
