Title:Creating a Diary in PDF

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

I am looking for someone to create a bespoke diary for me in PDF. This will need to include all the normal contents of a diary (year planner, maps, phone numbers, dialling codes plus obviously a diary for a year) as well as certain bespoke pages which I will provide you with.

This pdf will then be passed on to printers in order to form my diary.

Not much of a budget for a design job.

Appreciate your feedback - but as a new start-up company with limited funds and a job which I do not expect to be particularly challenging it was the best I could do!

Sorry, I can't help you out on such a small budget.

Thanks for your reply.

Will the diary be multiple pages (like a book) or a year-planner (like a poster)?
W. H.W. H. on 06/10/2010 15:20
A year planner (poster) would cost less to design and produce (and print), but still exceed your budget.

It will be multiple pages (like a book)
W. H.W. H. on 06/10/2010 15:28
That is quite a fair bit of work if done properly. Good luck with your current and future bidders - I hope they can produce to the quality you expect.

Kindest regards
Wayne

Thanks for inviting me to bid. Although as you say it isn't too challenging it would be very time consuming. The diary pages wouldn't take that long but all the other pages you require with maps and dialling codes would take a while. You best bet it to find someone that has already designed a diary and would most of this already created. Unless you can increase your budget I can't help you with this one. Rosanne

As with some of the other replies here, thanks for the invitation to bid but the budget is very small. Once the PPH commission is taken out this would be a very low rate per hour.

If you decide to increase your budget let me know.

Hi, please provide as much detail as possible regarding your requirements.

What kind of layout do you require - one week per page, one week per double page spread?
How many maps, of what regions, and of what types?
International dialling codes or national (if so, what country?) or both?

Thanks,
Sophie

I am looking at one page for every two days. At the end of each week there will be a customised page with a table on it.

In terms of maps - UK and tube/train maps only.

International dialling codes - similar to what is in most diaries - perhaps 50-100 countries.

Two more questions: at what size will the diary be printed, and in what format will you supply the bespoke pages?

Thanks again,
Sophie
