Title:Create graphics of power plant diagrams from sketches

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Looking for a graphic artist/illustrator with a basic technical understanding, to turn 13 sketches of power plant diagrams (each representing a different technology) into consistent and visually appealing graphics that will be used to accompany articles. There are strong overlaps between these sketches, so they share many elements (e.g. a gas-fired and oil-fired power plant are essentially identical apart from the fuel supply elements).

Attached is an example sketch. Note that our interest in the graphics is to explain the essence of the technology (and how it differs from other technologies) to a lay person - we are not interested in the scary technical details.

Please only apply if you have some basic technical understanding of what the sketch is trying to represent (see example attached). These sketches will need adjustement - they will not be literally turned into a graphic - so its important that I can indicate which elements can be dropped or modified, and that you 'think' about what makes sense.

Please provide (links to) examples of your work. You MUST show some experience of developing graphics of such semi-technical diagrams.
