Hi Freelancers,

I need a freelancer to complete a PHP script that retrieves an XML feed, and refreshes the database based on a few business rules.

I have built a PHP code library / framework, with classes for database access, smtp email, and xml feed processing.

All you will need to do is to take an array of data (the parsed xml feed) and process it, updating the database, and maintaining an array of summary info, and exceptions, which are then to be emailed to the administrator as a report (email code already written).

The script is meant to be run from the command line as a cron job, but can also be run from the browser.

I fully expect you to create a local dev environment and to test your work fully. I have created setup instructions - its real easy. I expect you to be capable with SVN; you will need to pull the code from an SVN repository and commit your changes back in.

I'm looking for a quality coder that I can hopefully call on for future work. This job is one of three jobs for this specific project, and there are more jobs in the pipeline.

Please give examples of PHP code that you have written.

Native English speakers only please, and prefereably in a timezone +- 3 hours from GMT - I'm big on effective communication.

I am looking to get started on this asap, so I'll be looking to accept a bid over this weekend.
