CREATION OF PRICE COMPARISON TELECOMS WEBSITE

We are a telecoms company based in the UK. We are about to launch a new price comparison website which compares prices and services of various telecoms companies offering international calls.


Basic outline of the specification for the website:

1) Home page will contain various search filters. e.g The country i'm calling. I want to call a landline or mobile etc.

2) After search is complete customer will automatically be forwarded to a new landing page.

3) Each country will have it's own landing page containing a table of the various options available to the customer for making calls to this country.

4) We estimate the website to have approximately 225 landing pages. Roughly 200 landling pages for various countries and 25 containing details of suppliers and various other info.

5) We need a basic shoppiing cart as people will also be able to purchase physical products such as sim cards and calling cards.

6) A blog needs to be installed and facility for customers to write reviews about various companies who we will be promoting.

7) Site needs to be fully SEO compliant.

8) We need to be able to update rates on the website and add / remove suppliers ourselves as and when the need arises. Most prices will be static and will require updating manually once a month only.

What we're looking for:

1) We need a professional company / individual that is not going to charge us a fortunate to create our website. It is unlikely that this website will make any real money for at least 12 months from launch hence costs need to be kept at a minimal.

2) Tenders from outside the UK are welcome but need to be priced cheaper than UK tenders. This is because from previous experious we have to invest a lot more of our time (and money) in making phone calls overseas, adjusting our working hours to suit those of the company overseas and (from experience) a huge amount of our normally time gets invested in rectifying basic spelling mistakes and providing general guidance (no offence to those from outside the UK. We're just talking from past experience).

3) It would be an advantage if the company / indivdual who builds our website can also offer a monthly SEO service as we would much rather prefer to keep everything in 1 place. It also means automatic repeat business and steady income for the winning bidder.

4) We are also expecting all graphic design work to also be undertaken in house to whoever we award the tender to.

5) We need the following info when a Tender is placed:
a) Price
b) Brief outline of work that you are willing to complete within your quoted price.
c) Examples of previous websites created (previous experience of creating price comparison websites is useful but not essential as is experience of working on Telecoms websites)
d) If also offering SEO services we need a list of websites that you have got into Google top 10 together with the keywords you have optimised for each site.

Approximate start time is within 21 days of placing this invite.
What we offer to the winning bidder is plenty of repeat business and a steady monthly income stream if the winning bidder can also provide SEO services. We have 2 other websites that are live and currently managed by 2 separate companies both of whom we are not very happy with. If we can find a good partner for this project we can hand them our other websites also for general up keep and SEO. We are looking for a long term partner and not just 1 job wonder!
