Hi Rui,

Would you be able to upload the pdfs?

Due to the confidentiality of these drawings, I would not upload them. however, I would speak to reasonable bidders and award the job, only after then I will send the drawings. I can say that the drawings are for mechanical parts.

To submit an accurate fixed fee bid we would need to see the pdfs to see the amount of work required

Rui

As mentioned by others, from what discipline are your drawings (architectural, engineering etc). Originals required for an accurate bid. How have people already managed to bid on this if they dont know these details? gets me. Many thanks.

Thanks Paul. drawings are mechanical engine parts. they are confidential, that's why I have not uploaded. got the drawings in pdf, would like to make proper CAD out of them. We are a small company and do not have our own CAD engineer, that is why we will need to outsource.

Rui,

What size are the drawings, AO, A1, A2, A3, or A4 ?. How much information is on the drawings? Are they Architectural/Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or something else?
I have completed similar work for companies. Please reply with pdf and tiff files.

Thank you.

Mike

Me thinks. pdfs, copy of drawings with modifications... Copywrite, Intellectual Property, etc. Ever thought to wonder why anybody would have pdf files but not the originals? Ahh!! of course! this is PPH where anyone will do anything for anybody at any price!!

We own the copywrite, the products are developed exclusively for us with our own part number by our supplier. they only gave us pdf drawings, and we have agreed to convert them to CAD. Nothing wrong with this.

Hi!!!

We would be happy to work on this project, if you allow service providers like us to bid on this job..Please see our profile

How anyone can bid on a project like this is beyond me. I have been a mechanical design draughtsperson for 15 years and would chanrge in the region of £15 per hour. Any experienced draughtsman would charge no less.
If there are six drawings so anyone giving a realistic bid and with any experience would have to see what they are bidding on.

With no disrespect Rui, I think you would have to show these PDF files to prospective bidders.

I was also wondering why you have posted 6 jobs on this website and only ever awarded 1.

£15 per hour is very reasonable.
The reason we only awarded one job is because some jobs have not reached their deadline yet,

Rui,

I see by your response to Paul that the parts are mechanical engine parts. I do a lot of design work for classic cars and race car components.
If you do not have a CAD design employee then I am happy to work on this and perhaps future projects you may have.

Jamie.

For such projects I think it would be only fair to create a job that is charged per the rate as a fixed fee is impossible to guess. Maybe something to consider for future jobs you post
