Title:Build a website to pitch Change The Future

Location:Anywhere

Job Description

Hello,
We're looking for a web designer to build a site, which pitches a big idea.
The idea is ChangeTheFuture, a revolutionary web system enabling society to change the education system.

So to clarify: this job is to build a website with the main objectives being:
1) Inform and excite people about Change The Future
2) Persuade potential investors to invest in the idea

This is by no means a fixed design, so we will want your creative input to make it the most impressive we can make it.

We were thinking the site could have a hand-drawn style.
But whatever style we go for, it must be imaginative and fun.

We do not want it in Flash. HTML5 is preferred.

We want to be able to update content ourselves, i.e. add/remove videos, pictures and links, update news or text on the site.
The videos need to be embedded youtube or vimeo videos.

Note about page 5 (Preview the System): this is perhaps the biggest section of the site. It will be a preview of the Change The Future system.
The previews will be still images, which you will have to link to other still images.
The links will be hidden, so the users will think they are clicking on the buttons in the preview to go to the relevant page, when in fact it is just a hidden button in a still image that links to another still image.

We are based in Brighton and Bournemouth, UK, so someone who is based in South England is a preference, but not essential.

We already have a domain name registered:
changethefuture.co.uk
But we don't have a hosting package.
An ethical host is preferred - e.g. http://www.supergreenhosting.com/

Change The Future is a voluntary project - our only drive is to shape the education system and improve the world somewhat :)
This means we currently have a limited budget from grants and donations, so please let us know your price and how long it would take to build.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can also chat to us about our plans for the major ChangeTheFuture system and potentially help us shape the final designs for the huge idea that we envision.
This is not part of the job, but it would be extremely helpful towards our cause.

So let us know how interested you are in seeing the ChangeTheFuture system designs and the possibility of getting involved and helping us shape it.

Thank you
Charlie Shread

Hi Charlie,

Sounds fantastic! May I ask if you could attach the brief/spec you seem to refer to when you say 'Note about page 5...'

Thanks,
Caroline Elisa
