H. H. on 28/01/2012 03:19Morning Dana - is your project budget for BOTH jobs?
Reply from Client
D. T. on 31/01/2012 20:49Hi yes that is the budget for both.
S. W. on 28/01/2012 08:55Hi Dana. My understanding of your brief, is that you want a 30 page booklet, a logo and 3 web pages - home/about/client. All within a budget of £200, or have I got it wrong and the budget range is for the booklet and then the same range for the logo/web pages? Also are you providing the images or do they have to be sourced and then included in the price? Many thanks.
R. D. on 28/01/2012 10:36I'm interested in this project but because of the extremely low budget I cannot commit.
N. M. on 28/01/2012 15:18Hi Dana - you say that the booklet just needs formatting - does this mean that you have a design in place that need following?

C. S. on 04/03/2012 13:52When you say formatting you mean a full design. Then a logo and website. Your budget is far too low to get a professional involved I am afraid to say. You are honestly looking at £1,500 at the low end. Professionalism, superb design and expertise cost I am afraid.
C. S. on 04/03/2012 13:54Plus we have to source and supply photos. Thirty pages of photos. You do know you can't grab them off the web. Not for a brochure. They have to be purchased. I do think you need to seriously re-think that budget. You will only end up having to re-do the job.

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
