We are currently looking for telesales staff based at home or in your own office in the UK. You will manage a call list of local and national businesses and other organisations within a number of different sectors. We provide a complimentary text marketing service to all UK businesses, clubs, charities, soletraders as well as marketing agencies, web developers and other potential resellers. You will be calling and managing these organisations to create leads and ultimately register a few short details from them on our website and get as many as possible on board with our free service.
Our initial service is free and so no real selling is needed by you. Our internal staff then look to sell upgrade packages and blocks of SMS text messages to the clients after they have been signed up for a short time. There is the possibility of you helping with these upgrades in later roles (maybe on a commission basis), but for now the role is to sign up free accounts and is paid on an hourly basis.
We are aiming to hit a large number of sectors and so would be happy to discuss a preferred sector with you if you already have experience in that area.
We also require you to identify client who already use text marketing and to arrange a follow-up call with our internal staff so that we can offer a competitive package.
We also require you to identify larger clients or client who do not already use text marketing but may be further down the road with considering it and therefore are candidates for skipping the free offering and jumping straight to a paid-for offering. You would arrange a follow-up call with our internal staff so that we can offer a competitive package.
We also need you to identify potential agencies, resellers and other affiliates who may wish to promote the service to their own customers, leads, etc. You would arrange a follow-up call with our internal staff so that we can discuss the opportunities.
You will be experienced at convincing clients to signup for such a service, and also at quickly identifying clients who already use our competitors or who may be potential larger clients and/or resellers or affiliates.
You will have set targets in terms of number of calls to make and leads to obtain, and will report and update us with the progress of your calls daily.
You will have a good telephone manner and able to communicate confidently over the phone. You will understand the text marketing industry, or if not then be a fast learner so that we can get you up to speed quickly. You must be comfortable making a high volume of calls and presenting to managers and business owners. Ideally you will have a good number of hours free each day to commit. You will be organised and able to plan ahead and prioritise. You are reliable and self-motivated, familiar with Microsoft Excel (basic level) and be experienced in B2B telesales.
