S. S. on 21/10/2009 19:49Hi Damian,
Thanks for inviting me to bid. Could you give more info on the actual product and do you have a website I could visit?
Regards
Sue.
D. A. on 21/10/2009 19:56the product isn't attached to a website yet but it will next week on dragonswebclinic.co.uk next week.
Prospective clients are adwords users that invite a degree of conversion by telephone. We offer a way of tracking where each call has come from in order that we can reduce their adwords bills, and focus on the keyphrases that are actually profitable. To my knowledge there isn't a system like this in the UK certainly and I couldn't find one anywhere. We developed it for one our marketing websites as we were unhappy with the focus of adwords. A little complicated I know but I'll give you as much info as I can
S. P. on 24/10/2009 16:57Hi Damian,
Thank you for inviting me to bid.
Having previously worked for Yell Ltd., I am familiar with this type of web analytics service.
Could you tell me - are you able to offer the client detailed summaries to show where the most usage is coming from? And what kind of backup would I, as a salesperson have, when asked technical questions by prospects?
Thanks in advance,
Samantha.
D. A. on 25/10/2009 18:44The idea is to give a summary report so we can say where the clients money is spent profitably, even if the enquiries/sales are offline, which is the unique difference.
Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
