Title:Add-on Application for 'Heating Central'

Job Description

We use Salesforce.com [SF] to manage the contact both with customers from the general public seeking plumbing help [referred to as %u2018Customers%u2019 in SF], and the plumbers and heating engineers [referred to as %u2018Accounts%u2019 in SF].

Each Customer gets assigned an Account (or several Accounts in case of multiple quotes) to visit and execute plumbing jobs. We then (upon completion of the job) charge the Account by an agreed fee as a percentage of the total job%u2019s cost to the Customer.

Required Application

We need to design a %u2018Find Nearest%u2019 architecture within SF that will sort all registered plumbers by proximity to the customer%u2019s location and allow the user to select which plumbers to approach to offer the job to. The application will then pre-populate some of the fields already programmed into our SF system with the content from the plumber%u2019s record.
