Job Purpose:
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions and keeping the client data base uptodate for Companies House purposes
Duties:
• Maintains the current system to account for financial transactions by using established a chart of accounts; developing bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Maintains intercompany accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Balances intercompany accounts by reconciling entries.
• Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Complies with legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Liaison with bankers.
• Attending to Companies House and related company secretarial matters for clients
Skills/Qualifications:
• Fully conversant with Quickbooks Premier Accountant, knowledge of MYOB an advantage.
• Developing Standards, Analyzing Information , Dealing with Complexity, Reporting Research Results, Data Entry Skills, Accounting, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness
