Clarification Board

Hi there,
Are you interesting in someone taking on the database and finishing the design work for you, or do you just need a sounding board to offer help with coding issues?
Either way, would you be able to give an indication of the type of database, and the sort of issues you need to have resolved.
Many thanks.

Peter
Can you upload a copy of the database to look at, also could you give a bit more information about your company and how you see the database working within your organisation?

All of the databases I design have complete custom front ends where the user never sees MS access,

All my queries are driven from forms, and serve multiple purposes. To use a query the user simply selects a few fields from an onscreen form to filter by (EG Date From: Date To: Supplier Name) .

Also I never display the results for a query to the user in query format, queries are output as A) on screen form B) Printable Report C) Excel export D) as the content of an Email via outlook

So it is difficult to gauge explaining how all this works without knowing your proficiency in access.

One way for you to proceed would be to use one of the many MS access forums available on the web. Tek-Tips DOT COM is particularly good. You can post snippets of your code and queries an receive free advice from the many advanced users on the forum

If you can get a bit more info back I’ll put a bid in

Thanks

Jimmy
