Title:300-400 Word Articles Required
Location:Anywhere
Job Description
Hi
I need ten articles optimised with one primary keyword. They need to be at least 300 words long and will be posted to article distribution sites for SEO use. The articles would need to be original (will be scanned for plagiarism) and transfer of article copyright and submission rights to me would be required. Is this something that you could do? How many articles can you write within an hour?
All the best,
Tom

N. C. on 04/10/2010 16:43Hi Tom,
In order for me to make an appropriate bid can you tell me how many articles you are looking for with a budget of £40-£80? And what is the subject matter?
regards,
Nick

T. C. on 04/10/2010 16:53Hi Nick,
I am a start up company with a limited budget so ideally all 10 articles for £80. Quality of each article is more important to me so I am open to negotiation. What would be your cost per article?
All the best,
Tom
J. M. on 04/10/2010 17:10Hi Tom
Are you expecting articles to be written without any research at all? And then expecting a writer's freehand creation to be handed over for between £40 - 80 as well as relinquish copyright?
Sorry but I think you'll be lucky to get much quality for such a low entry level cost.
Good luck with it anyway.

T. C. on 04/10/2010 17:25Hi Jim. I now realise that my budget was a little low and I am reviewing this. I am a web developer myself and I am fully aware of freelance abuse and driving down of prices and this is definitely not my intention.
Thank you for your response.
J. M. on 04/10/2010 17:28Hi Tom
Having reread my post I apolgise if it seemed a bit abrupt that wasn't my intention. Hope it goes well for you.
Regards
jim

T. C. on 04/10/2010 18:10No problem at all Jim. I imagine there are a lot of people out there trying to pull a fast one. I am not one of those people and after a little bit of research and feedback, I have upped my budget to £160. I am aware this will still alienate some writers but I have to make a balance between cost per hour and what I can afford to pay.
All the best,
Tom

Here are some practical tips on staying safe
- Never pay any money to Clients and or provide sensitive details like your Bank information, Credit Card or Passwords
- Never accept a Job if you have been directed away from PeoplePerHour to another website
- Be cautious when providing your personal contact details (email, telephone number, instant message ID etc) before your Bid is accepted
- If you have been asked to send samples, put a watermark on them or send low resolution examples to avoid being exposed and not getting paid
- Don’t start work before your Bid is accepted and your Escrow deposit is made
- Keep your Escrow account topped up and ensure that you use the Private Message Board to track all pertinent details about the Job e.g. timelines, deliverables etc
- Before you supply final works to Clients, ensure you have adequate funds in Escrow
Remember: if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
