Description
Experience Level: Entry
We are looking for an 2 or 3 experienced property inventory transcribers/typists to become a QC for our transcription business.
You will be at times, the first face for our company so your attitude and approach to work must be highly professional but friendly and supporting.
The job comes in two parts and is an on-going position with plenty of chances to shine and gain bonuses for the right candidate.
Part one will be a form of training period lasting for a minimum of 1 month, in which you will need to:-
-Learn the formatting of our clients inventory, check-in and check out, schedule of condition and interim templates off by heart.
-Complete a number of templates from each client until you are 100% versed in the formatting style of each template.
-Learn the process of receiving, sending, allocating, checking and managing audio files through our system
-Help with selecting new agents and giving advise on who you think has the relevant skills.
By the end of part one you should be able to answer any questions on the formatting and be able to see quickly any errors agents have made on their submitted templates. At the end of part one there will be a test on all the clients templates you have be learning and it will have to be a 99% pass rate. There will be 100 mistake to point out so you need to point out at least 99 of them. The level is so high because this is what you will be doing in part two. If the templates agents complete are wrong and they get sent through to our clients then the client doesn’t pay for them and it makes us look bad.
So you will need for part one:-
An amazing eye for detail
A pragmatic approach to overseeing the completion of templates
A determined demeanour to get the job done and meet the deadline
Vast inventory transcribing and typing experience
Understand sending audio files over the internet
Managerial or supervisory experience a plus, if non, then a strong sense of leadership skills is a bonus.
Part one will be part time hours, roughly 25 hours per week over 6/7 days
The rate of pay will be £7 per hour for this period. Part two is a different pay structure.
Part two will only be offered to you if we are happy with the way you have worked, and proven you have the skill level to carry out the role unsupervised.
Part two will start of on part time hours but will then become full time hopefully within a few months of starting the role.
In part two your main tasks will be:
Check completed transcription submitted by new agents, for errors.
Inform new agents of any formatting mistakes they have made.
Return any incorrect work to new agents or/and back onto our system for a different agent to pick up.
Liaise with management and clients with regards to any problems you incur or can for see.
Help implement new clients templates to new agents.
The pay scale for part two will be discussed when we have established your skill level and how much supervision you need. Our aim is let you run your tasks each day and check in with problems or if you need advise. The rate per hour will go up to around £10 per hour but the amount of hours to start with will be in line with the amount of work available, but no less than 20 hours per week to start with.
So please bid if you feel you have the relevant skills we need. We need someone with specific property inventory transcription experience. If you don’t have this then don’t apply please. We will be making a short list and going from there. Part one will start sometime in late September.
Any thing else please ask away
Thanks
