About Me
I am a highly experienced copy-editor of academic books and journals, a published writer of factual articles, often with a touch of humour, and a copywriter, including SEO copy (see portfolio), website copy, and press releases.
My background is in training (computer and administrative skills, and English language), and I have designed and written a number of courses in these fields.
I am also a professionally trained typesetter, using professional software (QuarkXpress) to produce press quality layouts.

Yvonne provided focus, dedication and proffesionalism to the task at hand. Her communication with me to ensure that she deleived exactly what I sought was excellent. Editing a novel can vary, however Yvonne has done an excellent job of correcting grrammatical mistakes and offering alternate words to improve fluidity. Her method of delivery with the document showing the changes made is a great learning curve for myself. Will I use Yvonne again? Absolutely. Would I recommend her - Yes! Hopefully she will fit me in with any other tasks. Please note, I audited 20 other editors before choosing Yvonne, and it was money well spent. Hope to build a lasting relationship as I continue to write.

Although I am a freelance, I have worked on a continuous basis for this company for the past eleven years. In a sense, they act as my agents, sitting between me and the clients. Most of my work consists of copy-editing academic books on psychology, psychotherapy and associated fields, and typesetting them ready for publication. I produce an average of around 30-40 books per year.
