Tim has nearly 25 years of experience working for non-profit and governmental agencies. His most recent eight years of experience has been as a grant writer for a non-profit hospital, St. Charles Medical Center, which included raising funds for two capital campaigns. He is currently freelance grant writer working primarily for the Polycom Grant Assistance Program. Working for Polycom, his specific focus has been to secure funds for distance learning and telemedicine video conferencing networks. Tim has successfully secured seven RUS Distance Learning and Telemedicine grants. Some of Tim’s recent clients have included: Copper River Native Association in Alaska; Central Missouri State University; RUSH Health Systems in Mississippi and Alabama; STAR Council in Texas; Nebraska Distance Education Council; Madras Police Department in Oregon; and Washington State Department of Corrections.
In addition to his experience in healthcare, he has broad experience working for a variety of non-profit human service agencies, including state and local entities developing programs and securing grant funds for program start-up operations. His experience enables him to effectively develop programs and grant proposals for a broad range of subjects other than healthcare.
