My everyday role includes:-
• Liaising with customers, providing them with support and eventually onsite customer support and servicing.
• Liaising with the technical team (on-site and off-shore) to contribute to software testing and technical developments.
• CSS development support for offshore-developers.
• Troubleshooting and correcting technical issues during development.
• Attending functional specification reviews to provide estimated testing time lines and feedback on up coming developments.
• Improving site usability and interface.
• Designing graphics, website mock-up and wireframe.
• Defining, raising and testing requirements for fixes and enhancements.

Software Testing and Content Developer (Web Design) at Brightwave Ltd

Part of team that designed Virgin Atlantic back-safety e-learning course – Winner of Best in E-Learning Award at the DiMA:S (www.thedigitalmediaawards.co.uk).

As a Web Content Developer, my role included:-
• Following technical specification to carry out initial course set-up and development in preparation for development by other developers.
• CSS development for courseware templates.
• Developing e-learning courseware using appropriate toolset and following production processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Troubleshooting and correcting technical issues during development.
• Implementing changes (stylesheet, HTML, images) and amends to the courseware during the development phase.

Worked on re-coding www.brightwave.co.uk, following the user-centred design process, W3C web standards, as well as web accessibility and usability guidelines and best practices.
• Re-coded web pages to produce clean fully standard compliant XHTML 1.0 Strict layouts.
• Identified and removed depreciated HTML tags.
• Fixed style-sheet errors, resulting in W3C compliant CSS.
• Tested and fixed a number of web accessibility issues so as to conform to guidelines from WAI and W3C.

Provide SCORM testing support for a number of external client projects:-
• BUPA Launch and Track Learning Management System. Testing, Support, Fixing CSS issues.
• PriceWaterCooper LMS. – Testing.

Member of a cross-functional project group that supports the PaySys VisionPlus Platform, through conversion from existing platforms to VisionPlus or via international market specific projects and initiative, VisioPlus system updates etc. As a project analyst, my role included:-
• Creating Business Impact Analysis and providing consultancy on system capabilities, and raising and reviewing change requests.
• Updating Business Procedures, Training Material and User Screen Guides.
• Writing, executing Test cases and Co-ordinating User Acceptance Testing.
