About Me

I am a very experienced Administrator having worked in many different industries. Past employers include Robert Half Finance and Accounting (Sales Administrator), a FE College (Prisons Division Administrator), West Midlands Police (Civillian role - Telecommunications Assistant), Telewest Communications (now Virgin -as a Law Enforcement Co-ordinator) and a small firm of Financial Advisors (Personal Assistant and Office Manager). I have previously been Home Office, Police and CRB checkedcleared. I pick up new skills and systems easily and am very computer literate. When not at work, I am Volunteer Welfare Team Leader for my local Cats Protection. I am a non-smoker and have impeccable manners. I am bright, witty and charming and take great pride in all I do.

Health,Safety& Insurance/Loss Prevention/Risk Administrator at Signet Trading Limited

Working for the UK's largest Retail Jewellers; Processing accident reports, reporting to RIDDOR, providing accident statistics and graphs to the Executive and Group Health & Safety Committees, advising store and head office staff on health and safety issues, overseeing the First Aiders, collating data on health and safety audits for the stores and responding with ways to resolve any issues highlighted, typing up Fire Risk Assessments, issuing the annual Fire Risk Assessment Questionnaires and sending out validation certificates, logging and dealing with employers',public liability and damage claims, liaising with our Insurance Brokers and Liability Insurers, issuing eye test vouchers under our corporate eyecare scheme, sending mandates to new employees entitled to a company car for checking via the DVLA, maintaining, updating and creating databases/spreadsheets, logging work station risk assessments (Display Screen Equipment Users) and creating surveys, copy typing, taking minutes, booking meetings etc. I am also the Loss Prevention/Risk Administrator, logging incidents on a database, updating spreadsheets and extracting figures/producing reports.

Education

I have 8 GCSEs ranging from C's to A's. I have a NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, a NVQ in Horse Care and Stable Management (!) and am also a qualified Pet Microchipper(!) I would describe myself as QBE (Qualified by Experience) and have attended many courses during my working life including the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) & Telecommuniations SPOC (Single Point of Contact) course for telecommunications and internet, a week long course for Court Procedures and an Introduction to the Legal System, The Indispensable Assistant course etc etc.
