I am a freelance legal, academic and business proofreader.

I practised for ten years as a litigation (civil and commercial) and company law solicitor in the areas of consumer law, contract law, property disputes, debt collection, personal injury and clinical negligence, drafting commercial agreements, intellectual property, insolvency, company incorporations, mergers, acquisition and disposals, corporate finance, and partnership agreements and disputes. I remain on the Roll of Solicitors as a non-practising solicitor.

I trained as a proofreader and completed the Publishing Training Centre proofreading course with a high merit. My clients include online academic proofreading companies, translation companies, small businesses and individuals. I proofread legal documents, academic pieces, website content and business documents, including emails, invoices and reports.

I obtained the CELTA teaching certificate (Certificate of English Language Teaching to Adults) in 2000 and teach English as a foreign language.
