Working for this medical device company I was responsible for setting up and running all social media sites including Twitter, Facebook and Linked In. I would update the sites daily and attracted 100's of followers within weeks.

I was also responsible for the set up of a e-newsletter, which I then wrote every month, creating stories and sourcing images. This also involved proof reading, link checking and reporting.

I also started a PR distribution list for this company and wrote and sent their press releases. I managed to secure exposure both on-line and in medical magazines both in the UK and America.

I attended trade events with Disposable Medical Instruments, as the PR manager I spoke to influential people and managed to secure reciprocal sponsorship contra with other businesses in the industry, leading to features on-line.

I worked closely with their website and design teams to make sure marketing communications on the website and in press advertising were delivered effectively.
