1) CustomWare Asia Pacific( 1.5 years )
Working with CustomWare as technical support engineer for Atlassian’s product called Confluence has given me vast knowledge of troubleshooting customer’s instances (servers installed with Confluence). At times I have to do perform screensharing with customers in order to solve the problem as soon as possible. The following are some of the tasks required to be performed:
- Answering forum queries at http://forums.atlassian.com
- Answering documentation related queries at http://confluence.atlassian.com
- Creating and maintaining Knowledge Base articles at
http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFKB/Confluence+Knowledge+Base+Home
- Handle support tickets at https://support.atlassian.com/
- Discovering bugs in the software and reporting them as well as finding workarounds
or patches for them as temporary measures for customers. This is done at
http://jira.atlassian.com
- Involved in support projects that will help the team in working efficiently
- Plugin Development
- Maintaining Linux servers in the company
