About Me
I'm a freelance lifestyle, consumer, health and beauty writer, editor of Inspired, a lifestyle magazine for Essex (Since April 2011) and copywriter blogger for SpaSeekers since 2010.
I would love to be able to include links to my work in my profile but PPH doesn't allow this so please get in touch and I'll gladly send links, copies of the magazine or PDF versions of work I've done.
I created the original Relentlessly Positive website back in 2006 (the blog was created in 2009) and started my own copywriting company in 2007. I write sparkling copy for magazines and websites (including beauty brand Simple) have written brochure and advertising copy for big name brands, and been responsible for news, features and stories for legal and public sector organisations too.
I designed Relentlessly Positive myself, and came up with the concept of a 'positive, feelgood' website. It was given four stars by Webuser Magazine.
Relentlessly Positive has now been updated to a blog format, and along with sister site Queen Simply Be, features upbeat comment, interviews and reviews.
I write for consumer and trade press, including Soul and Spirit; P3 Pharmacy; Tena Talk and Heritage, and have also written for Slim at Home, Salon Today, Salon Plus, Spa Plus, Nails Plus; Workplace Law and Trading Standards Today.
Other projects included writing travel features for a newly set up travel magazine called Tour Smart.
I also contribute regular features to:
P3 Magazine
thepropertylandlord
consumerrightsexpert
beautytreatmentexpert
yourtravelrights
fastfoodnation
fatgirlsarefabtoo
relentlesslypositive
My Chocolate Daisy website gives you some good examples of what I can do. I did all the work on the sites myself, I'm not a techie so I did use some templates but other than that they are all my own work...
In addition to features and web copy, I have also written a mini-biography of Marilyn Monroe, written web copy and a Skincare Health Check for Simple and helped update a legal reference guide for Workplace Law Group.
I've also been featured on local radio in my capacity as a 'fashion & lifestyle expert' which I've enjoyed very much.
