• Responsible for Purchasing Customer Service and Telesales, a move championed by me to create day to day synergies across the two functions. Developing department managers and their teams to the next level. Creating and reviewing promotional activity from point of buy in to sell out mechanic, performing product gap analysis on customer sectors to aid up and cross selling, implementing lead generation programmes, introducing CRM system to aid customer issues and solution throughout business. • Due to my success within the Telesales department I was asked to review and implement changes within the Purchasing department taking responsibility for: a team of buyers for all food and non food categories (5k lines), multi site stock management, reduction in working capital and delivery cost savings, supplier negotiation and management, new product introduction and range control, implementing KPIs to ensure new standard adhered to and customer demand met, control and reporting on commercials, product recalls and complaints.

Initiating and implementing changes to working practices and general culture of business. Improving sales out figures by coaching and developing the telesales team and their managers whilst introducing and maintaining the highest standards in office KPIs. Creating Business Development plans based on the analysis of current business trends and putting these into action throughout the business with close management of Field Sales. • After creating a successful customer service team I wanted to gain some marketing experience. As channel manager I was responsible for all POS, display material and showroom installation for the shower range dealing with retail and merchant sectors.
