I have extensive experience of drafting brochures both marketing and technical, and also of conducting and writing-up case studies. At a very large light industrial company, New Age International, I drafted, proofread and edited detailed technical brochures on standby generator systems and the electronic control systems.

I have both commissioned and written numerous case studies for both the research and marketing department at the NGO Investors in People where they were included on the organization website. I have also written academic case studies for the University of Reading where I was a Research Associate. I also worked for the think tank Demos where I wrote literature reviews and website copy.

I have recently drafted material for the websites of the University of Birmingham and Canterbury Christ Church University. These web pages were based around a large multi-million pound research project funded by the Templeton Foundation. The subsequent report, which I drafted and edited, was the basis of several briefings conducted at the Cabinet Office in 2009 and 2010.

I run a copywriting business specialising in supporting academic institutions and small businesses. I can work on an hourly rate (£30 per hour), proofing (£20) or quote per job depending on the brief.
