About Me

Talent, reliability, personality: three things editors look for in a freelance journalist and three things editors are guaranteed when they hire me.

From the budgetary implications of landfill tax to the best vintage boutiques in Wales, I've a diverse range of topics under my belt in the capacity of editor, writer and sub.

My career history to date has seen me editing South Wales' premier what's on and entertainment guide, Buzz, and its annual supplements, writing for magazines as varied as The Big Issue, B2B title HRDirector and literary rag The Raconteur, contributing to websites such as Men's Health and Seven, and working as production editor for a range of customer-focused environmental publications.

In addition to a wealth of experience in both consumer and B2B markets, online and in print, I've demonstrable skills in social media having spearheaded web presences for a variety of clients, and thanks to a post graduate diploma in journalism from Cardiff University, I've a solid understanding of media law.

Ruthlessly organised, I continually hit tight and often conflicting deadlines, and pride myself on my ability to accomplish jobs to a consistently high standard.

Areas covered: Cardiff, Bristol, London, Nationwide

Rachel did another fantastic job for the PPH official blog. I will be commissioning her for a third time, no doubt...
