Translator & Teacher - Romanian and German

I am bilingual in both Romanian and German and I have a degree in foreign languages and teaching.

1. I offer lessons in conversational Romanian and German for

a. either professionals needing to improve these two languages for business purposes or

b. for private individuals wishing to develop Romanian or German language skills.

2. I offer translations from Romanian into English and English into Romanian, as well as from German into English and English into German.

Experience:
I have been living in the UK for the last 25 years and I am British citizen.

I was born in Romania and I am bilingual with both Romanian and German. I studied foreign languages, (German and French) at school and university. I graduated as a foreign language teacher and taught German at both college and at university level. In Romania I used to work also in broadcasting, teaching German on the National Radio and Television. I also used to translate articles from Romanian into German, which were published in Romanian magazines.

My work in banking in the UK over 23 years involved me with the business in German speaking territories as well as in Romania, where I used these two languages extensively.

Education and Training:
University of Bucharest/Romania, Faculty for Foreign Languages (German and French), University of Trier and Dresden to perfect the German language.
