Very negative experience. I would never advise anybody to use Offroad. Total absence of prompt communication. Poorly managed by Katherine Croom. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Please feel free to contact me for more information. I haven’t had a chance to speak to actual designer (who worked on our project last- as they were changing all the time) and based on Katherine words she was passing onto me whatever been told by other teams without actually checking herself. And the other way around- whatever I wrote on dashboard was just passed onto team without looking through or raising any questions. Please see how project evolved: January 25th - beginning of the project. Deadline was set up in 4 weeks. Branding, site appearance, site layout, Design, Wordpess implementation included in bid. February 15th- Offroad came up with graphic design of main page only. (Minor changes to be made). Straight after that Offroad started implementing site on WP (without signing off any of the pages- not even main page). They explained the fact that they started doing initial design in wordpress before signing every page in Photoshop because they were keen to finish in deadline and thought it would be faster- TO MAKE ALL DESIGN FROM SCRATCH IN WORDPRESS WITHOUT HAVING SIGNED OFF .PSD FILES. Design was totally different from the one agreed on. On our attempts to refer to design we were happy with, nobody seemed to understand what we want and what design we refer to. February 28th- We agreed that design will be provided by other designer as Offroad said they don’t understand what we actually want. (THIS WAS THE DAY OF THE DEADLINE). On the 20th March we provided Offroad with ready design + all background images, logo, site map, guidance, PSD, copy, etc (some minor variations we were willing to discuss). Every day I received updates from Katherine that site is ready, yet it was nowhere near to PSD file we provided them with. I then had to check myself, make printscreen to explain and show that this is not what we wanted. My messages on dashboard and checklists I made for Katherine were ignored. I had to refer Katherine to PSD file and PDF version of this file what was what we wanted to incorporate. Offroad failed to deliver that and further attempts were not making it any better. 10th April- Decision was made to terminate the project with offroad as it was pointless- every day I went on and on about the same issues which weren’t fixed. Since then we haven’t received PSD files with their changes, we haven’t received WP-ADMIN access. WP-Admin link is inactive- never actually existed. Offroad is saying that they provided us with final product, yet we haven’t signed- off not a single page. We didn’t receive what we wanted (and provided in PSD). Offroad have uploaded some folder with thousands of files in dashboard saying that this is a software of site (?) instead of WP- ready site. Any attempts to open this folder end up with collapsed computer. There is nothing we could actually use in further job. After I abandoned project Offroad came up with excuse that design wasn’t their part of job (initially it was indeed, but they failed to deliver it). Offroad started blaming us for not providing them PSD files, yet it was uploaded on their dashboard and can be easily checked. On our request to refund money blame was put on me that they’ve spent too much men-hours on this job, yet it was fixed price bid and there is nothing completed. Moreover, nobody seemed to be interested in solving this issue. I haven’t been provided description of files or guidance on how to delete them from my Computer now- as I just can't delete them. Not PSD, nor WP- admin link or password. WP-ADMIN access never existed as per message on site. Very miserable performance.
