I develop Web and Multimedia applications, mainly in Flash. Much of my work to date has been for the public sector, and includes interactive games for children, navigation displays, learning modules etc. Having recently started as a freelancer in this field, I'm happy to offer reasonable prices for work carried out while I establish myself as a developer.

Experience:
I have recently completed several Flash components (using ActionScript and PHP) for a local authority website. These include an e-learning application, an interactive children's game, an interactive map and navigation component.

Over the past months I have also delivered several Flash animation components and applications for various other websites, recently including a Web-to-print system and a dynamic flash gallery using xml data.

I have also developed dynamic Web applications, database connectivity/ search facilities etc.

I completed my MSc/ PgDip in IT at Glasgow University in November 2007, for which I was awarded a Distinction and the Class Prize. This extremely demanding course required the development of numerous prototype applications using a variety of technologies.

As a part-time tutor for students learning the Java language, I have strong communication skills.
