I originally undertook a history degree at York University achieving a 2.1 hons degree. Within this course I undertook several research studies as well as a 12,000 word dissertation which saw me carrying out primary and secondary research, transcribing interviews and inputting data from various sources. Since I completed my history degree I undertook various volunteering work with children which led me on to train as a paediatric nurse.
Due to carrying out two degrees, both of which required me to write both research papers and dissertations, I am confident in carrying out any type of writing or research task whether it be manual or internet based, transcribing and analysing data as well as typing any sort of documents into a final draft. Due to my nursing background I am also confident in handling any types of audits or medical data.
