For the all-important links to the site (backlinks) I concentrate on high-quality links from high-ranking sites obtained through white-hat techniques including article writing, online press releases, setting up blogs and a social media presence. This method of building backlinks through quality content is extremely effective because, not only are the links valuable in the search engine's eyes, but by providing quality content (with embedded links) my articles are frequently re-published on a range of related sites so the number of backlinks grows steadily and naturally. So improvements in rankings are not short-lived as they tend to be when links are automatically built through poor-quality sites and directories.

I can also set up, monitor and analyse Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising campaigns, if required, while the SEO techniques are implemented and take effect.
