After finishing my studies as an Officially Recognised Translator in Saarbrücken, I worked for Square Enix (a big Japanese video games company) for 2 years as a Senior QA Lead. Main duties were leading and coordinating a team of German localisation QA testers, managing of bug databases and translating and proofreading of various materials (in-game texts, manuals, PR texts).

Now, I am looking to gain practical experience within the translation, writing or editing sector and feel a position as freelancer would help me to demonstrate the knowledge and skills I have gained.
