About Me

I am a highly qualified researcher, lecturer and events planner. As a freelance curator and educator, I have gained a great deal of experience establishing partnerships with galleries and museums such as the ICA and the Tate by initiating and managing exhibition projects for diverse audiences. I am currently devising and implementing the Discursive Rooms programme at Tate Britain, gallery-based critical discussion sessions for students from KS4 to Foundation. In this role, I have often worked with film, digital moving image and performance.

As a graduate with a PhD from the London Consortium pertaining to the collaborative practices that emerge as a result of negotiation processes between artists and public art institutions, I have extensive knowledge of current interpretation strategies, curatorial research and the issues that to the management of art organisations.

I currently lecture at Goldsmiths CollegeÃ’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½s Fine Arts department where I contribute to the Critical Studies modules, notably by teaching a seminar I devised on the basis of current research interests. I occupy a similar role in the Arts Management and Policy MA programme at Birkbeck College where I teach the Arts and Education module as well as the Arts Administration and Management module. In this context, I regularly lead a research seminar on interdisciplinary research in the arts.
