About Me
I am an extremely adept freelance writer with seven years experience of professional writing. This experience includes journalism, copy editing, editing short stories, writing and researching academically, writing copy and writingediting poetry.
I have a BA (hons) English with Popular Culture. I have just completed an MRes in Sexuality and Gender Studies (currently awaiting results, although expected to receive a distinction) and am now continuing my studies as a PhD candidate. I have had academic texts from my further studies published in the UK.
As well as academic texts I have written many pieces of journalism published by a variety of publications throughout the UK.
I also write creatively and have had several short stories and poems published in the UK and Australia. I have had two collections of poetry published, \'Outlaws\' and \'Sky Blue Rose and Other Poems\'. I have also had three children\'s books (of my \'Cat Man Do\' series) and a book of short stories for young adults published, again in the UK.
Other than the above I have experience copyediting, speech writing and editingpublishing a literary journal (please see CV for further details).

BA (hons) English with Popular Culture
Course assessed on independently researched essays, public presentations and a final dissertation. Modules of study included Classical literature, film and television studies, psychological studies, consumer politics, youth culture and its marketing, African-American literature and Feminist Studies.
I am also currently in the final stages of an MRes Sexuality and Gender Studies. My essays completed so far have all been graded as Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½distinctions.Ã’¢ï’¿’½ï’¿’½
