Engineering maintenance planner / Stores Manager:
Reporting directly to Engineering Manager. Coordinating & managing all maintenance activities, and planning all PM activities using CMMS/EAM software packages. Developed software to aid planning and KPI task generation. Had overall responsibility for running of engineering maintenance stores.

Projects engineer / Health & Safety officer:
Reporting directly to Operations Director. Coordinating & managing projects with values from £20,000 to £250,000. Developed software to aid project planning, internal reference, and job progress and management. Responsible for all health & safety matters on all company sites.

Reporting directly to Managing Director in a customer facing role, responsible for scheduling, carrying out & analysis of injection moulding machine energy studies throughout the world, implementation of ISO9001:2000 quality system, & also software automation/programming tasks

Reporting directly to Group Business Manager. Responsible for all day to day maintenance activities. Managed 4 shift engineers, 2 day shift engineers and 3 support staff. Implemented preventative and routine maintenance programmes. Provided technical & hands on support for breakdowns and installations as required. Responsible for controlling spares stocks, developing and implemented a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and all H&S requirements.

Reported directly to C.E.O. Provided technical support to sales staff. Provided basic technical training to sales staff in mechanical and electrical theory, followed by segment specific training in their particular sales field. Liaised with both sales staff and clients on technical issues when required. Visited machinery on site in Europe, United States and Taiwan to carry out technical assessment and value appraisal. Instigated technical consultancy service offerings, which later developed into a separate technical consultancy division, offering technical consultancy to OEMs on EU market compliance, machinery improvements, manufacturers obligations and safety issues. Creation of training programmes and material for sales staff, as well as other reference and training aids for company staff.

Manufacturing Manager:
Reported directly to Managing Director. Carried out research into 'best option' implementation of production facilities. Researched, sourced, installed, commissioned and implemented manufacturing facility for electronic circuits (through hole, surface mount, and mixed technology). Responsible for 'hands on' training of production staff in manufacturing methods. Supervised 18 production staff in 3 areas (production, assembly, and quality control). Worked in conjunction with external consultant to create and implement quality systems. Managed day to day production issues and supervision, and effectively planned workload. Created effective cost quotations for existing and new work.

Plant Engineer:
Reporting directly to Manufacturing Director. Responsible for all day to day maintenance activities. Supervised 5 engineers and 2 support staff. Implemented new preventative and routine maintenance programmes. Responded to urgent breakdowns as required, and assisted maintenance staff when necessary. Responsible for implementing updated health and safety procedures and liaison with health and safety committee. Installation and commissioning of new plant. Rebuilding of existing equipment when required.

Self employed service engineer running my own company, carrying out electro-mechanical maintenance on a variety of injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment, including sprue pickers, oil and water heaters, compressors, etc. Worked on various control systems including relay, solid state and PLC. Carried out some machine installation and recommissioning, as well as panel rebuilding/modification.
