I have spent the last twelve years writing reports providing strategic advice on the telecoms industry for large companies. These have always been accompanied by press releases and short articles for websites and newsletters produced to length and to deadline. I have also written white papers and marketing brochures for Telecoms companies.
Prior to that I spent a decade working on European Commission research projects which necessitated writing proposals for funding applications as well as reports for a specialist audience who did not have English as a first language.
Some of my early technical writing jobs included software documentation and recruitment brochures.
