I have worked for the NHS since 1984. My work experience is predominantly performance focused. I started work as a junior with the Patient Data Department, progressing to ECR Manager(management of patient specific referrals for treatments outside NHS contracts),including budget management and reporting. I then moved across into Ophthalmic Management(processing 10,000 claims a month, and preventing fraud, I was also involved in year end balances for the PCT and the management of negligence claims. Finally I moved into the role of Performance Management.
