For the last 3 years I\'ve been working as a web developer using PHP, MySQL, (X)HTML & CSS on a LAMP platform and have successfully deployed sites for Chorley Family Playgroup, Ethical Path and Mitchells & Butlers Franchise amongst others. Prior to that I delivered a Management Information (MI) reporting application based on MS SQL Server/Excel to Vodafone and a similiar thing to the CPPIH.
The remaining 8 years of my working life have included a CRM system based on Remedy and an MI reporting system based on SQL Server to Bank of Ireland, various military software projects written in assembler and numerous roles in telecoms companies writing, C, SQL, Unix scripts and Visual Basic.
Provide a customized content management system that works to promote the services offered by the playgroup as well as permitting the non-technical administrators to add news and images to the site to keep the content fresh and current.

Sub-contracted through Dragonfly Creative and based on already agreed project requirements, design, build and test a web based document repository for Mitchell's & Butlers franchise holders. The site frontend is an advert targeted at potential franchise holders offering details of the benefits of running an M&B pub. The frontend displays modifiable news articles, page text and image scrollers as well as profiling available pubs displaying their locations on Google maps. Franchise holders can access a password protected backend that provides a searchable repository of useful documents including sales and advertising literature, finance spreadsheets, and legal documents. An administrator backend (again passsword accessed) provides an interface to change news articles and frontend site text, add and modify available franchises, add documents to the repository and manage user accounts and privileges.
The site was built from scratch on a LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) platform with and (X)HTML & CSS frontent. Key features include basic CMS funtionality including image upload and resizing, plotting franchise locations on Google maps with clickable information nodes and document repository browse and search.
